Mark Watson

Mayoral Candidate

East Ward Lead Candidate
Mark Watson is a dedicated advocate who has been consistently opposing the establishment of the Hunter Offshore Windfarm since its inception. From the moment the concept was introduced, he has maintained his vocal stance and actively collaborated with numerous community groups to increase awareness about the potential ramifications. Mark's commitment to his community's welfare is unwavering, as he constantly engages with them to understand their concerns and address them effectively. He strongly believes that the council should operate free from any political affiliations or influences, allowing the people's voices to be heard. According to Mark, the council's primary focus should be on essential matters such as rates, roads, and rubbish, ensuring that the community's funds are allocated appropriately for their benefit.
